Highlander Folk School

Founded in 1932 in Monteagle, Tennessee, Myles Horton’s vision for a just society, particularly regarding workers’ rights, was influenced by the IWW’s mission to denounce management’s greed and to support workers’ regardless of gender, creed, or race.
